Meet The Team

I founded The Neurodiverse-City Connection with the goal to support neurodiverse adults in finding true connections. During my professional career as a speech therapist and life coach, I have had the chance to work with many Autistic and ADHD individuals. Due to the nature of being neurodiverse meaning that one has an atypical way of thinking and processing, it is often hard for us to find the support we deserve and desire.

 

Finding support for younger children seems easier, right? However, children grow up and continue to benefit from support. People innately crave a sense of community and neurodiverse adults are no different. During my work as a speech therapist, I frequently heard the same complaint from the neurodiverse adults that were placed on my caseload- "it is so hard to find friends and/or a life partner". Many of these clients repeatedly shared how difficult it is to find support as an adult. I decided to try to change that with this community.

 

My goal is to create as many connections as possible so no one in our network needs to feel lonely. Our virtual center is here to support your desire to connect without judgement that you may be a little awk...or a lot awk! We embrace the differences here.

 

At this time, we offer individual neurodiversity-affirming coaching, social groups for individuals seeking friendship, and match-making/dating guidance & facilitation for those seeking a life partner.
